Short Blogging Break
I'm sorry all. I've been on a short blogging break while I've been so sick. Things aren't much better just yet, but its looking a bit like Hyperemesis Gravidarum. The doctors have tried a couple of prescriptions. I'm on B-6 and starting a new prescription today in hopes it might help.
In the mean time I will try to check in and post as much as I can. Sorry for the lag in updates. *hugs*

Hope you feel better soon!

Hi Kristin,
I'm so sorry about the Dx! A very good friend had terrible HG with her first (and so far only) pregnancy. She blogs about HG and I'm sure she would love to chat with you if you're interested.
Here is her blog (the whining puker is her, not her DS)

Oh no!
Hang in there and take good care of yourself. You may think spending too much time taking care of yourself isn't good for the girls but it provides a really great example for them to listen to their bodies and respect their health and feelings.
I wish I was closer - I'd come over and take care of you all.

Oh, sweetie, I'm so sorry. I had that with my youngest and though sure I was dying from West Nile. Yes, I'm a bit...um...melodramatic? Anyway, you have my sympathy and prayers.

Oh man. I had it so bad with Jack. Have you tried Zofran yet? Crazy expensive, and sometimes you have to get a pump installed so it never runs out (skeeery, eh?), but it does help at least slow it down when nothing else will. At least for me.

Very, very sorry you're so sick! Hope you have or will find a good doctor who will help you through this... Maybe you could find a high school student who could watch your kids while you rest... my daughter's school has an active job bulletin board, maybe there's something similar where you are? I wish you relief, and soon! (((hugs))) ((more hugs))
